Scatman John was born in the 40s with a serious defect in the speech. Since we all know, he was a sputterer. He was a very introverted young man, with many problems, which it sheltered in the music to be able to communicate: in the 70, it acted of pianist with enough success in many clubs of Los Angeles.

The night and the personal problems that have not been solved and overcome, incite to the drugs and to the alcohol, and Scatman suffered them in his meats. This Christmas I have had the opportunity to listen to the album début of Original Sin, one of the throwings most waited in what to drum and bass refers. Grow Your Wings has not been created in a few months, but in approximately ten years. Ten years of career and of learning that have been captured in a best possible way in this work.

Completely comparable at a height of the last works of chase and Status or Sub Focus; young English has had the maximum taken care in each of the cuts of the album, starting by the first one of them Therapy:

Original Sin – Therapy

Undoubtedly, one of the best (and the best to start). An overture frantic and much balanced on his rhythm and composition. Desperate batteries and hoarse synthesizers warn, along with increases and descents of the big work that he is still to dream.

After him, Kiss comes, the melodic touch after the first "therapy", with voices and intensive percussions that harmonize the subtle and short appearance of a few synthesizers that perhaps they might warn about the arrival of R Bass, one of the topics with a line of down more powerful than the whole disc: spectacular. Next there comes to us Dayz, another small and melodic oasis like Kiss, although more “cash“ and cold.

With Pimp Don't Limp we come to one of the jewels from the album and my favorite topic. With an "empty" intro that is filling and inflating little by little, (literally) to burst with a percussion and a line of down horrifying.

Again, with Your Love it turns this "fictitious" calmness with soft voices, more progressive melodies and that, perhaps it is the most correct, well made and "perfect" song of the album. Next, Ark and Dangerous appear before us as the darkest tracks of the whole set, although, of course, without leaving of the harmony of the whole disc.

Without You is other of the awards of Grow Your Wings; it begins without giving a lot of hopes, like doing the disguised one, but there are small the second ones that have to happen to notice the force and the potency of this track with dubstep airs:

Step On, is for me the heaviest track of the album, which perhaps could choke to someone, but nothing burdens that could not be solved a little further on. Finally Bonus Tracks appears to finish off the task: Bastard Killer, Promise Me and 3000 Thousands. Three courts that complete to the perfection this excellent work of Original Sin.

Dragonette in Barcelona (11/21/2009): the chronicle

It is not the first one that Dragonette was visiting the city of a count, they passed already somewhere here in the edition of 2007 of the missing festival Summercase and for Razz Club in February of last year; but in this occasion, they came to present his second album: Fixin’ to Thrill.

This Canadian band of birth and Londoner of adoption, take two years walking his songs Electropop for five continents, and this time we could have caught them inside an European tour in which they have acted in cities like Berlin, Cologne, Paris, London and Madrid.

2.-The suspension of fundamental rights is and it must keep on being an exclusive competition of the judicial power. Not even a closing without judgment. This draft, against the established in the article 20.5 of the Constitution, puts in hands of not judicial organ – an organism dependent on the department of Culture - the power to the access to any web page prevent the Spanish citizens.

Depeche Mode in Madrid (16/17 of November, 2009): the chronicle

Since I moved forward you days ago, last Tuesday I was in the second one of the concerts that gave the mythical band of techno - pop Depeche Mode in the Palace of Sports of Madrid.

To excuse to me that I become solemn, but it was a complete sleep. When it was adolescent at least he was dreaming of being able to go so far as to see them touching opposite me. His music has been my reference. Mine and that of so many people others: sterns, rockers, clubbers, lover of the music in general. But for me they the sun My reason, the reason for which today I am excited of the electronics.

Yesterday, the combination of (especially) the artists, the enclosure, the public and the company, did that he is going to keep of the concert of the Depeche a memory that will remain stored in my mind during the whole life.

But let's start for the beginning. The remodeled Palace of the Sports, the best enclosure of concerts that we have in Madrid. Wide, modern, spectacular, and especially, with brilliant acoustics. Blessed fire that took ahead the ancient construction, because they have left a space to us of the first for the music. Yesterday evening he accompanied something fundamental in a concert: the sound. Powerful, clear, sobrecogedor at all times.

The teloneros, Soulsavers. Well, a group to be continued. They have several songs that are more than understudies, although they did not concentrate too much the attention of almost anybody. We all were waiting the magic moment: I was thrilled by the simple fact of having them finally ahead, of seeing them going out to the stage, and of starting to sing.

The concert, brilliant, emotive, brilliant. Sobrecogedor the charisma of Dave and of Martin. His desire of pleasing. Of giving spectacle. And of singing well! There were songs that sounded even better than on the proper discs. This serious, serious and powerful voice, that chair seems to sit whenever it pronounces a poem …

Depeche Mode touching Never let me down again

Moments of the night? Some of us have known these works more faced towards the dance floor, and that plays us bad spent.

Or perhaps because in Enjoy the Silence, Dave did not even go so far as to sing the refrain, but it was cheering the public to do it up. It was the general keynote: more than ten thousand souls completely dedicated to his idols, which know all the songs and sing them like only one voice. With his good parts and his bad parts.

To end, another two hits. Behind the Wheel, and especially, Personal Jesus, re-interpreted directly by Dave and theirs. A version very different from the original that from me personally conquered me. The biggest applause and end of the show. A long concert (two hours) and I fill of exciting moments: there are so many mythical songs to be revised, that even becomes short!

And especially a historical musical group that still has not made itself comfortable. That demands the maximum from himself in every appointment with his faithful. That keeps on assembling all the characteristics that elevated them towards the highest of the planet. And many years. I hope that it should not be the last time that we celebrate a new disc of Depeche Mode, and especially, that we see live.

CROOKERS ft Kelis – not Security Official Video UP

At the end of July we announce that Crookers was preparing his album début, an album that will go on sale on March 8 of next 2010 with the name of Tons ans Friends.

The first single that the Italians offer us is not Security, an excellent cut in key dubstep and hip hop with the collaboration of the singer of R&B, Kelis.
